Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) Administrative Assistant role located in New York, NY. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. Responsibilities include managing schedules, handling phone calls, organizing and maintaining files, preparing reports, coordinating appointments and meetings, and supporting attorneys with administrative tasks as needed. The role requires proactive organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional communication within the office and with clients.
The position has the opportunity to grow into a paralegal role.
Qualifications
Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical skills to manage schedules, files, and office systems efficiently
Excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication abilities for professional interaction with clients, vendors, and team members
Experience with Executive Administrative Assistance to support leadership with critical tasks and scheduling
Proficiency in organizational tools and basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a plus.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and maintain confidentiality
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
Previous experience in legal, finance, or tax industries is a plus
The good faith hourly range for this position is $30 to $40 per hour. This is a non-exempt position.
